[r8] talking head: frieren

[ Frieren is led to a quiet room within the resort with a pair of hammocks to suit the scene, and upon one of them is where the overseer sits. She beams, shuffling her cards in hand (she will not use these), and motions for Frieren to take a seat already!!!
This is the Talking Heads room, and there are cameras. Prepare to loosen those lips! ]

it's a conclusion frieren comes to in the deadpan silence of her thoughts as she listens, anna's pace far exceeding her own. "the slow swing of the hammock is relaxing" is another, settling gently in her mind after that. ]
That's good. If we're lucky, your energy will rub off on the other contestants.
[ like it totally is on her.
anyway. swing, swing. ]
What does that love look like? The one you've found, that you're hoping others do?

Oh, how do I talk about it? [ where does she start. swing, swing. ] It's a love... where I don't have to worry, or try too hard, a love that clicks and feels right in every way possible, a "same page" love, and... one that I can't imagine not having in my life.
[ even if she had to find it with someone across a whole different dimension. anna leans into the hammock, smiling a little softer. ]
A love where "the honeymoon phase" lasts forever. I would choose him again, and again, and again, and I know he'd do the same. I'm the only one he wants to walk with, and he's the only one that I wanna do that with too. So I'm really hoping that others can find someone they don't wanna imagine anyone else with -- even temporarily, or for the sake of some game.

but, no, frieren was absolutely prepared for the flood of information that question was prompting. doesn't this feel a bit like she's the one doing the interviewing? observing the swing of anna's hammock, listening to the answer that she gets (anna found the words to talk about it just fine, which isn't a bad thing), but also doesn't quite get.
not that frieren minds. it's how she'd prefer it, honestly. ]
If it's as you say, it doesn't sound like you need an excuse to drag him away.
[ how nice. frieren comprehends it solely as a lifetime companion; those she's familiar with. beyond that, well... that's something with hazier edges, behind the frosted glass of the past. ]
Though, truthfully, I can't imagine everyone participating will find what you've described.

[ down to certain details..... anyway. ]
But as long as they come out of it feeling loved, then that's enough.
