Chuu-Chuu Chamber | Kaname Date & Gustave

Welcome to the Chuu-Chuu Chamber!

The crew lets you into a dim bedroom, the ambient sound of a rowdy tavern muffled by the rugs scattered across the ground. Outside of the decor, there's also a large timer on the wall... looking somewhat out of place among the oil lamps and such. Very retro in the medieval sense.

The timer starts at 5 minutes, and the crew will helpfully inform both of you that unless you start kissing, getting handsy, so and so forth before your time is up... you'll be kicked out of the room!

If you do, you'll find, the timer then starts over -- at 4 minutes!

Then 3.

Then 2...

And so on and so forth, until there isn't any time at all between activities. Better get busy!

[ Date still firmly believes he has a handle on his affection for Gustave (he doesn't) even if he does feel overwhelmingly soft about the other man. He wants to hope for the best — that they'll find a solution, that the wishes will work, that Gustave will somehow be able to have both his cake and eat it too. He's so desperately hopeful for it that it nearly chokes him. Is that strange? Maybe that's too much for a guy he met so recently.

But he's going to keep petting Gustave's hair and watching his face, even as he closes his eyes briefly, and his heart feels so full in response. He wants Gustave to be happy, he wants it so badly, and he selfishly wants to be part of that happiness. That's the thing he has to grapple with as well, knowing that the likelihood of that is much lower. ]

Alright. I'll be happy too.

[ A promise he's not sure he can keep, depending on what the future holds. But it's his intention at least, to be happy. It's the best he can promise Gustave right now in this moment, even if he knows it's not guaranteed.

But for now, they have this moment, right? The two of them, lying here, Date petting Gustave, coming down from the high of pleasure. They'll have to clean up soon, get dressed again, Date will have to put on his mask again, and then they'll leave the room. But for now... this is pretty nice. ]
